Founded by triathlete Emilio De Soto II, De Soto Clothing Company has been in existence since 1990. Each time that I have contact the company, my emails have been personally answered by Emilio. De Soto’s clothing quality and customer service live up to their claim as “The World’s Finest Triathlon Gear!” The De Soto brand is my training and racing clothing of choice.
QR’s flagship tri-bike and a bike Triathlete Magazine has called “the most innovative in the past decade from any brand,” the CD0.1 model uses the same ground-breaking frameset QR launched in 2009 to a fast and furious rumble of approval across the triathlon community. I’m excited to be racing on QR’s CD0.1 Dura Ace in 2010!

Rainmaker Publishing LLC co-founder, Michaela Gaaseruud, first solicited me as a contributing author to their first book, From Fairbanks to Boston: 50 Great U.S. Marathons. I approached Rainmaker with the idea to write about my experiences with cancer and triathlons and suddenly I was on the way to fulfilling my dream to author a book: Full Time and Sub-Nine: Fitting Iron Distance Training into Everyday Life.
I am proud to be a partner of the Joanna M. Nicolay Melanoma Foundation in their mission to promote prevention, early detection and research to end melanoma. This is a natural partnership given the substantial amount of time that I spend training outside in the sun.
