Mid-Atlantic 140.6 Triathlon Training Camp

The Challenge Ten triathletes stepped up to the challenge of our weekend 140.6 Triathlon Training Camp challenge at Lake Sherando near the northernmost point of the Blue Ridge Parkway. What is the significance of 140.6? It’s the total distance in miles completed during an Ironman-distance triathlon with its characteristic 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run.  It’s my favorite distance and I’ve now successfully completed 26 races at the distance. Congratulations to the 18 wonderful ladies who completed the second She Does Tri Camp for women in Warrenton, VA this past weekend! “WOW!” is the best word that Krista and I could come up with to describe what occurred over the weekend. She Does Tri Camp: Big Success!

“Wow!” is the best word that Krista Schultz and I could come up to describe how we feel after the inaugural She Does Tri Camp for Women in Warrenton, VA this past weekend. We doubt we’ll ever be able to get such a wonderful group of women in the future. They have set the bar extremely high for future camps.
